I am glad you found your way here. Thank you for visiting this site and I really hope that you enjoy your stay here.
My name is Steve. I am a dad for two kids and a Bernedoodle dog, a husband, a programmer, and also an avid PC gamer. First of all I am not used to write things as English is my second language. Therefore, please pardon my grammar and spelling mistakes.
THE WORLD WE LIVE IN
If we see what happen in the world nowadays, from coronavirus, poverty, political and social unrest, human trafficking, human rights violations, etc, there is no end to the “crisis” that we face. But you might think, “Well, those are not my problems.”.
Let us zoom in our daily life: some of us struggle to put food on the table, while some others experience stressful?pressure in their workplace. Not to mention job-loss, family-crisis, domestic violence, credit card debt, etc. Those are actual things we face in our lives.
Have you ever found yourself waking up in the morning so tired and exhausted? Prolonged exposure to daily problems can wear our spirit down, resulting in loss of joy, enervation, or even worse, they eat up our health.
“A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.” (New King James Version, Proverbs 17:22).
SPRINKLES OF HOPE
It has been more than 18 years from the moment that God touched my heart personally and opened my eyes to His grace. Before that point, I don’t really care about God, even though I’m a Christian baptized since I was a baby. I did countless stupid things, break rules just because it sounds cool, hurt people just because I was not in a good mood, and lots of other things that I’m not proud of. Nevertheless, I’m sure you are not here to read pages of my wrongdoings litany. I just want to say that I’m?imperfect, broken, and troubled.
As I write this, I’m still not perfect, I struggle to live by God’s standard every single day. It’s not easy. Some times I am so stubborn that God let me hit a wall again, and again, and again, (and again), before I finally stop and try to ask, listen to HIM, and let HIM opens the way for me. I remember days when I woke up feeling so tired, so exhausted, so fed up with all my problems. I felt that God does not seem to care.
But? I was wrong.
In one of the pockets in my bible, I keep a lot of small cards. Those are bible verse cards, motivational cards, prayer cards from people that I collect for more than ten years. When I pray every morning, I randomly pick one card to pray and to meditate on. After all these years, it is amazing how God still works giving me sprinkles of hope each day. It’s just feel different when you started your day knowing that God that created this universe, rooting for you.
That is?hope for me.
To know that there is something good in this world worth fighting for.
To believe that I am a wonder created by God. All cells, and body parts inside of me working together in miraculous way so that I am “alive”.
To believe in good nature of people. Because God created and inside their hearts too.
To pray that everything that I say, do, and think would bring joy and a smile to everyone that I come in contact with.
To pray that you can find sprinkle(s) of hope as you go through this site.
And finally, to pray that God bless you abundantly.
That is the main reason I build this website. I want to share with you what little hope God gives me.
Within this site, I hope you find bits of hope to enlighten your heart, lift your spirit up, and put a smile on you, the most beautiful person God has created.
If you ever need a prayer, do not hesitate to drop a message on the Prayer Cards page. Otherwise, if you have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
Steve
